Fire brigade attended site and dealt with the electrical fire in a block of 50 flats. We were called out by the block management team to assess and rectify power. Our inspection and testing revealed fire damaged mains switchgear, and sub-main cables to the flats. Our first priority was to re-instate landlords lighting/power distribution board ensuring all safety systems were working satisfactorily to allow safe passage of residents throughout the building. New mains switchgear installed, damaged submain cables replaced, tested and re-instated electricity to all flats.
New cabling and containment installed with new secure lockable sockets to prevent unauthorised use of the electrical installation. Individual safety testing in all flats. Residents all back for Christmas!

First Defibrillator installation on the high street today in Selsdon
Jeff Borkett Electrical Services carried out the First Defibrillator installation on the high street today in Selsdon adjacent to the Village Club.
The AED was supplied by Croydon Council, Councillor Robert Ward. Materials supplied free of charge and installed by Jeff and his team Harry and Ryan.
